Changing Remote Codes
Remote Codes might not work with some telephone systems. The preset Fax Receive Code is

for New Zealand). The preset Telephone Answer Code is

preset Activation Voice Code is

.
To change Remote Codes

Press Menu/Set, 2, 4.

Press or to select ON (or OFF), and press Menu/Set when the screen displays the
setting you want.

If you want to, enter a new Fax Receive Code, then press Menu/Set.

If you want to, enter a new Telephone Answer Code, then press Menu/Set.

If you want to, enter a new Activation Voice Code, then press Menu/Set.

Press Stop/Exit.
If you are always disconnected when accessing your external TAD remotely, try
changing the Fax Receive Code from
5 1
( 9 1 for New Zealand)
to

and the Telephone Answer Code from
# 5 1
(# 9 1 for New Zealand)
to
1 1 1
. You
cannot use the same number for the Fax Receive Code, the Telephone Answer
Code, and the Activation Voice Code.
