Expression Editor Screen
The expression editor screen appears fi rst when you enter the TABLE Mode. You can use
this screen to input the function of variable X, which will be used for generation of a number
table.

• To clear the screen during input, press

• Any other variable other than X that is input on the expression editor screen is treated as
a value (in accordance with the value currently assigned to it).

Table Range Screen
Pressing
E
to register the expression you input on the expression editor screen displays
the table range screen shown below.
Use this screen to specify the start value (Start), end values (End), and the step (Step) of
the
x
value, which will be used to generate the number table.
Specifying the Start Value, End Value, and Step
1. On the table range screen, use
c
and
f
to move the highlighting to the setting you
want to change.
2. Input the values or expressions you want.
• To clear the screen during input, press
o
.
• Pressing
J
during input will discard everything you have input up to that point, and
restores the values that were previously input on the screen.
3. After inputting everything you want, press
E
.
• This registers your input. If you input expressions, the calculation result of the
expression is registered.
• While any setting is highlighted, press
E
to display the number table screen (page
96).
