The following fields set the RADIUS default values:
NOTE: If host-specific Timeouts, Retries, or Dead time values are not specified, the Global values
(Defaults) are applied to each host.
Default Retries (1-10)
— Indicates the default number of transmitted requests sent to RADIUS
server before a failure occurs.
Default Timeout for Reply (1-30)
— Indicates the default amount of the time (in seconds) the
device waits for an answer from the RADIUS server before timing out. The default is 5 seconds.
Default Dead time (0-2000)
— Indicates the default amount of time (in minutes) that a RADIUS
server is bypassed for service requests. The range is 0-2000.
Default Key String (1-128 Characters)
— The Default Key string used for authenticating and
encrypting all RADIUS communications between the device and the RADIUS server. This key
is encrypted.
Source IP Address
— Indicates the default source IP address that is used for communication with
RADIUS servers. The default source IP address is 0.0.0.0.
