The
Dynamic MAC Address
page contain the following fields:
Address Aging (10-630)
— Specifies the amount of time the MAC Address remains in the
Dynamic MAC Address
before it is timed out if no traffic from the source is detected. The default
value is 300 seconds.
Clear Table
— Clears the Dynamic Address table, when checked.
Port
— Specifies the interface for which the table is queried. There are two interface types from
which to select.
MAC Address
— Specifies the MAC address for which the table is queried.
VLAN ID
— The VLAN ID for which the table is queried.
Address Table Sort Key
— Specifies the means by which the Dynamic Address Table is sorted. The
address table can be sorted by address, VLAN or interface.
Redefining the Aging Time

Open the
Dynamic MAC Address
.

Define the
Aging Time
field.

Click
Apply Changes
.
The aging time is modified, and the device is updated.
Querying the Dynamic Address Table

Open the
Dynamic MAC Address

Define the parameter by which to query the
Dynamic Address Table
.
Entries can be queried by
Port

MAC Address
, or
VLAN ID
.

Query

Sorting the Dynamic Address Table

Dynamic MAC Address

Address Table Sort Key
drop-down menu, select whether to sort addresses by
address, VLAN ID, or interface.
