Basic
— Enables
SNMP Basic mode for a selected community. The possible field values are:
Access Mode
— Defines the access rights of the community. The possible field values are:
Read-Only
— Management access is restricted to read-only, and changes cannot be made
to the community.
Read-Write
— Management access is read-write and changes can be made to the device
configuration, but not to the community.
SNMP-Admin
— User has access to all device configuration options, as well as
permissions to modify the community.
View Name
— Contains a list of user-defined SNMP views
Name
— Specifies the name of the community used for SNMPv1,v2.
Advanced
— Contains a list of user-defined groups. When SNMP Advanced mode is selected, the
SNMP access control rules comprising the group are enabled for the selected community. The
Advanced mode also enables SNMP groups for specific SNMP communities. The SNMP Advanced
mode is defined only with SNMPv3. The possible field value is:
Group Name
— Specifies the name of the group when working in SNMP Advanced mode.
Remove
— When checked, removes a community.
Defining a New Community

SNMPv1,2 Community
page.

Add
.

The new community is saved, and the device is updated.
