LOM Riser Card
Removing The LOM Riser Card
CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You should only
perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your product documentation, or as
directed by the online or telephone service and support team. Damage due to servicing that is
not authorized by Dell is not covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions
that came with the product.
1. Remove the blade from the sleeve.
2. Remove the two screws that secure the LOM riser card to the blade system board.
3. Lift the card away from the blade system board.

Installing The LOM Riser Card

1. Remove the blade from the sleeve.
2. Install the LOM riser card:
a. Lower the LOM riser card into place until the card connector fits into the corresponding
connector on the blade system board.
b. Secure the card with the two screws.
3. Install the blade in the sleeve.
