Select Force as the type of trigger.
Then program the desired pounds of force.
Next, program Max Trigger Time. This provides a mea-
sure of safety insuring the welder will fault if for some
reason the welder never achieves the programmed trigger
force. See Figure 4-9.
NOTE
The example shown in Figure 4-9
assumes trigger force for a part with
four linear inches of weld would need
between 32 - 42 lbs of trigger force
A 20 inch linear weld may require
between 52 - 70 lbs. of trigger force.
