Optional EIB (ACU+ Controller Extended Interface Board)
The optional EIB (ACU+ Controller Extended Interface Board) provides additional
connection points for voltage and current inputs, programmable relay outputs, and
temperature probes. Refer to Figure 4-7.
Procedure
Voltage Inputs, Current Inputs, and Programmable Relay Outputs: Voltage input,
current input, and relay output leads are connected to screw-type terminal blocks located
on the optional EIB (ACU+ Controller Extended Interface Board) mounted inside the
distribution cabinet. Recommended torque for these connections is 5 in-lbs.
a) Current Inputs: Connect up to three (3) shunt inputs to the EIB (Extended
Interface Board). Observe proper polarity. Refer to Table 4-2 to determine what
shunt input to connect to on the EIB board. Refer to the ACU+ User Instructions
(UM1M820BNA) and program the shunt input parameters found in the EIB menu.
