6. Enter your password (up to 20 characters) and click
OK
to
save settings. If you are entering a password for the first time,
click
Change
and set a password. For more information
about passwords, see About passwords on page 9-7.
Follow the on-screen instructions. After updating is complete,
refresh the configuration by selecting
Refresh
from the View
menu.

Caution:
Since it takes 2 or 3 minutes to send new settings to the
interface card, you must wait until the on-screen message
appears before turning off your printer.
Configuring the interface card using EpsonNet WebAssist
You can configure the interface card for NetBEUI using EpsonNet
WebAssist.
Note:
A web browser must be installed in your computer.
TCP/IP must be correctly set for the computer and interface card.
Do not operate EpsonNet WinAssist and EpsonNet WebAssist for
the printer at the same time.
There are some restrictions on the characters you can use depending
on your browser. For details, see your browser or OS manual.
1. Turn on the printer with the interface card.
2. Run EpsonNet WebAssist. Use one of the ways described way
below.
Run EpsonNet WinAssist. Click the printer you want to
configure from the list and click the
Launch Browser
button.
