Expanding connectivity
Ports let you connect peripheral devices to your NAS. For instructions on how
to connect different external devices to the NAS, see your peripheral device
user’s guide for instructions.
Built-in networking
The built-in network feature lets you connect your NAS to an Ethernet-based
(10/100/1000 Mbps) network.
To connect network cables:
1 Connect an Ethernet cable from a LAN connector (LAN0 or LAN1) on the
rear of the NAS to a network jack or hub on your network.
2 See your operating system user’s guide for information on how to configure
your network settings.
