2. Select Network > TCP serial. The TCP to serial configuration page opens.
3. Enable the TCP to serial configuration option and configure parameters as follows:
TCP connection
Mode
Client: The M111 acts as a TCP client and initiates a connection to the specified Remote
IP address using the specified TCP port.
Server: The M111 acts as a TCP server and will listen for an incoming connection from a
TCP client on the specified TCP port.
Remote IP address
IP address of the remote device to which the M111 will attempt to connect when operating in
client mode.
TCP port
Sets the TCP port number that the M111 will use for the connection.
Transmit timeout
Specifies the length of time, in milliseconds, that traffic on the serial port will be buffered.
Idle timeout
Sets the amount of time, in seconds, that the TCP connection can remain idle before it is
disconnected by the M111.
Serial port
Use these parameters to configure the serial port on the M111 to match the settings on the
connected serial device.
