Enabling Options
The “Options” page lets you configure the search frequency,
enable software installation for plug and play devices with-
in range, limit connection speed, and select a COM port on
which to enable infrared communication.
The default COM port on which infrared communications is
enabled is COM1, which means a COM port wired to IRQ 4
and I/O address range 0x3F8 to 0x3FF. The 6620 Computer
can also enable COM2 wired to IRQ 3 with a range of
0x2F8–0x2FF.
