6. Once Þnished with the server conÞguration, run a NIC conÞguration
utility, i.e., FastManage, to set up a DS Context Name and DS Tree
Name.
4.3.4 Creating an NDS Print Server Using NWadmin
1. Open NetWare Tools and double-click on NWadmin.
2. Highlight the Organizational Unit where the print server, printer, and
print queue will be created.
3. Under the Object pull-down window, click Create.
The New Object window appears.
4. Select print server and click OK.
The Create Print Server window appears.
5. Type the printer name.
The name must have eight characters, must start with KD and end
with the last six digits of the hardware address. This number can be
found on the NIC faceplate.
6. Click Create.
4.3.4.1 Creating a New Printer
1. Under the Object pull-down window, click Create.
The New Object window appears.
2. Select Printer and click OK.
The create printer window appears.
3. Type the Printer Name and click Create.
