DVEM Power Harness
For Passport 4400 units containing one or two Digital Voice Expansion Modules,
a DVEM power harness must beinstalled. The powerharness provides additional
power to the DVEM boards (see Figure 9-9).
The DVEM power harness must be ordered separately – please consult document
900-1959-20, Passport 4400 Ordering Catalog. The part number of the harness is
NTAU32AA.
Note: Do not connect the DVEM power harness to the T1/E1 Voice
Module. If your Passport 4400 contains only one DVEM, there will
be an additional, unused connector on the power harness (this
connector would normally plug into a second DVEM). In this
case, leave the spare connector unconnected.
