¡The receive mode is set to the TEL mode. Set to the ANS/FAX,
TEL/FAX or FAX mode.
¡The time to answer the call may be too long. Decrease the number of
rings (see pages 23, 24 and 26).
¡The greeting message is too long. Shorten the message (see page
54).
¡The junk mail prohibitor is set to on (see page 41).
¡The sender transmitted a faint document. Request them to transmit a
clearer copy of the document.
¡The recording paper roll is installed incorrectly. Make sure that the
shiny side of the paper is facing down and re-install the paper (see
page 9).

appears on the copied

The copied document is blank.
¡The glass or rollers are dirty. Clean them (see page 71).
¡The recording paper roll is installed incorrectly. Make sure that the
shiny side of the paper is facing down and re-install the paper (see
page 9).
