Configure NPAR
You can use the NIC Partition Management tab in the device properties page to
enable NPAR and configure the 10GbE physical port into a multi-function storage
and networking port.
To set up NPAR on an 8200 and 3200 Series Adapters’ port:
1. Log in to the server that contains installed 8200 and 3200 Series Adapters.
2. Open the Server Manager and select Diagnostics > Device Manager >
Network Adapters.
3. Right-click the first QLogic 10 Gigabit Ethernet CNA device and select
Properties from the context menu (Figure 2-39).

4. From the Adapter Properties page, do the following:
a. Select the NIC Partition Management tab.
b. Right-click the function number you want to enable.
