Appendix D. Status Connect / Failure Reason Summary
Reason Description Action
Can’t Find Computer Unable to communicate to the
computer that’s being connected to.
Change invalid starting computer number,
incorrect expansion cable placement or power up
expansion Unit.
Computer is Private Another user is connected in private
mode.
Wait for the private user to disconnect and retry
the connect request.
No Response Communications error. Cycle power to the UltraMatrix switch where the
CPU is attached.
Not in Access Group A user profile specifies a group
without access to this computer.
Connect to another computer, use another
group, or include the computer in the user’s
group.
Out of Range Attempt to connect to a computer
with a number greater than the
maximum computer parameter.
Connect to a computer with a lower number than
the maximum or reconfigure all Units with a
higher maximum computer number.
Queue Full The Maximum number of KVM
stations is already connected to the

because another user has
connected in Private Mode.
Wait for the private mode user to disconnect and
reconnect to the computer.
Timed Out Keyboard or mouse has not been
used for the period specified in the
logout configuration parameter.
Re-connect to the CPU.
Unknown Computer Internal error occurred during
disconnect process.
Cycle power on one or more Units
Unknown Reason Internal error occurred during
disconnect process.
Cycle power on one or more Units.
User Request A logout [CTRL]-L or disconnect
[CTRL]-Q command disconnected a
user.

Video Path Cancel A KVM station on another Unit and
the same slot number is using this
station’s video path. The computer
