Setting Up your System
■ Readandfollowallinstructionsmarkedontheproduct
andinthedocumentationbeforeyouoperateyour
system. Retain all safety and operating instructions for
future use.
■ Donotusethisproductnearwateroraheatsource
such as a radiator.
■ Setupthesystemonastableworksurface.
■ Theproductshouldbeoperatedonlywiththetypeof
powersourceindicatedontheratinglabel.
■ Ensurethattheelectricaloutletyouareusingtopower
yourequipmentiseasilyaccessibleincaseofreor
short circuit.
■ Ifyourcomputerhasavoltageselectorswitch,make
surethattheswitchisintheproperposi-tionforyour
area.
■ Openingsinthecomputercaseareprovidedfor
ventilation.Donotblockorcovertheseopenings.
Make sure you provide adequate space, at least 6
inches (15 cm), around the system for ventilation when
yousetupyourworkarea.Neverinsertobjectsofany
kind into the computer ventilation openings.
■ Ensurethatthefanventsonthebottomofthecasing
are clear at all times. Do not place the computer on a
softsurface,doingsowillblockthebottomvents.
■ Ifyouuseanextensioncordwiththissystem,make
sure that the total power rating on the products
pluggedintotheextensioncorddoesnotexceedthe
extensioncordpowerrating.
