With the sprocketcoversopen, thread the paper over the sprockets,
aligningholeswiththepinson the sprockets.
Adjustthespacingofthesprocketsby slidingthemalongthebar,using
the clamp lever at the back of each sprocketto release and lock the
sprocketinpositin(whentheleverisdown,thesprocketmaybe moved,
andwhenit is up, thesprocketis locked).

Nowclosethesprocketcovers,againmakingsurethatthepapersprocket
holesare alignedwiththepinson the sprockets.If theyarenot aligned
properly,youwillhaveproblemswithpaperfeeding,possiblyresulting
in tearingandjammingof the paper.
Turnontheprinterusingtheswitchatthefrontoftheprinter.Theprinter
willbeep(indicatingthatthepaperis notyetfilly loaded).Thisis also
confirmedby theorange
POWER indicatorflashing.
10.Nowpressthe(
‘EER-ECT) button.The paperbailwillmoveclearof
thepaper,andthepaperwillbefedandadjustedpasttheprintheadto a
positionreadyforprinting.Thepaperbailwillbemovedbacktogripthe
paperagainsttheplaten,andtheprintheadwillmovetothestartposition.
11.Remounttherearcover.Holdit tiltedupwardandinsertthefourtabsat
the front into their slots.Then rotate the cover downwards,pressing
downon thethumbpadson theleft andrightto snapit intoplace.
