Afterloadingfanfoldpaperfromtherearof theprinter,youdonothaveto
unloadit whenyouwantto printon a singlesheet.Theprinterwill“park”
it for youif youfollowthe procedurebelow.
1. PaperparkingstartswithpowerON, fanfoldpaperloadedin printing
position,the releaseleverup.
2. Pressthe(
ONLINE
) buttonon thecontrolpaneltosettheprinteroff-
line(ON
LINE indicatorof~.
3. Tearoff the printedform at the last perforation,leavingnotmorethan
abouthalf a pageshowingabovethetop cover.If necessary,press the
(PAPERFEED)buttontofeedpaperfonvarduntilaperforationislocated
just abovethe topcover,andtearthere.
4. Press the( ‘W&4RcT)
buttonon thecontrolpanel.
Theprinterwillautomaticallyfeedthefanfoldformbackwarduntilthe
paperis completelyfreeof theplaten.
5. “Movethe releaseleverto the downposition.
6. Mountthepaperguidein theuprightposition.
Now you can load singlesheetseitherautomaticallyor manually,as ex-
plainedpreviously.The fanfoldpaper remainsparked at the back of the
printer.
Paper unparking
Whenyouwanttoresumeusingfanfoldpaper,theprocedureis as follows.
1. Removeall singlesheetsfromthe printer.
2. Mountthepaperguidein the horizontalposition.
3. Movethe releaseleverto theup position.
4. Pressthe ( ‘EFEAECT) button.Theprinterwillautomaticallyfeedthe
parkedfanfoldpaperintopositionfor printing.
