Restarting an AP
To restart an AP access port, use the following command:
reset {ap port-list | dap dap-num}
Use the reset ap command to reset an AP access point configured on an AP access port. Use the reset dap
command to reset a Distributed AP.
When you enter one of these commands, the AP access point drops all sessions and reboots.
Displaying AP Information
You can display the following AP information:
• AP and radio-specific configuration settings
• List of Distributed APs configured in the Mobility Domain
• List of Distributed APs that are not configured on a WSS
• Connection information for Distributed APs
• Service profile information
• Radio profile information
• Status information
• Statistics counters
Warning! Restarting an AP can cause data loss for users who are currently
associated with the AP.
