Note: If the duplexer unit was installed on the printer, reinstall it
after removing the media jam from the paper exit area. See
“Duplexer” in chapter 10.
Clearing a Duplexer Jam
1. Open the duplexer’s top cover by pulling it toward the back of
the printer (fig. 11.22).

2. Remove any jammed paper from the top of the duplexer (fig.
11.23).
Note: Be careful with the jammed paper. Since the toner has
not been fixed properly, it may rub off.
