4. Open the duplexer’s bottom cover by pulling it up from the

bottom (fig. 11.25).

Note: There is a catch to hold the bottom cover open. You

will feel a slight resistance as the catch is enabled

when you open the cover.

5. Remove any jammed paper from the bottom of the duplexer

(fig. 11.26).

Note: Be careful with the jammed paper. Since the toner has

not been fixed properly, it may rub off.
