Out of memory message
If you get an
OUT OF MEMORY
message while scanning the first page
of a fax, press
Stop
to cancel the scan. If you get an
OUT OF
MEMORY
message while scanning a subsequent page, you will have
the option to press
Start/Copy
to send the pages scanned so far,
or to press
Stop
to cancel the operation.
Broadcasting
Using the numbers you have stored in Groups and Tel-Index
memory, you can “Broadcast” faxes automatically to a maximum of
100 different locations in a few simple steps.
After the Broadcast is completed, a Broadcast Report will be printed
automatically to let you know the results.

Insert the document face down in the ADF.

Menu/Set

to set Memory Transmission
ON
.

Search/Mute
. Then, select the Tel-Index or Group
number by pressing or and then press
Menu/Set
.

Repeat Step 3 to enter the next number.

Press
Start/Copy
. The fax machine stores the document in
memory, and then transmits it to all the numbers you entered. If
the line is busy, your machine will redial.
Depending on your typical faxes,
OUT OF MEMORY
errors can
occur frequently. If this happens, change the Memory
Transmission setting back to
OFF
.
Press
Stop
during transmission to cancel the current fax
Broadcast.
To cancel all locations, press
Menu/Set
