Preventing Infection of Computer Viruses
You can protect against some viruses by limiting writing to the hard disk. To limit
writing to the hard disk, set the item Fixed disk boot sector to Write Protect in the
Security menu of the Setup Utility.
• You cannot prevent infection of all types of viruses with the above
operation.
• Even if a warning message appears, the system may not be infected in
some cases.
