Power or Lock-up Problems
If you are having trouble with the computer’s power or the
system locks up, see the suggestions below.
The computer does not start when you turn it on.
Turn off the power and check the following:

Be sure all cables are securely connected to the computer.

Check that the computer and monitor power cords are
plugged completely into their electrical outlets.

Test the outlet to see if it supplies power.
The computer starts but the screen is blank.
