8. Reconnect the interface cable and power cord and turn the
printer on.
9. To confirm that the option is installed correctly, print a status
sheet. See "Printing a Status Sheet" on page 245.
Removing a memory module
Perform the installation procedure in reverse.
When removing a memory module from its slot, press the clip
and pull out the memory module as shown below.
Note:
If the optional memory module is hard to remove, temporarily remove
the other memory module from slot A so it is easier to reach the optional
memory module to remove it. After removing the module, be sure to
replace the other memory module.
