Printable Area - S30675
The gray area in the illustration below shows the printable area. The arrow indicates the
feed direction.
The left and right edges of media recognized by the printer varies according to the Media Size Check settings.
1 The configured margin and the actual print results may differ depending on the RIP being used. Contact the RIP
manufacturer for more information.
2 This may be available in the RIP depending on the software RIP being used. Contact the RIP manufacturer for more
information.
3 Note the following points when setting margins:
Regardless of the Media Size Check setting, the margin start point is within “A” (indicated by the broken line).
If the total of the print data width and set left and right margins exceeds the printable area, a portion of the data will not
be printed.
On : The printer automatically detects the left and right edges of the loaded media.
When media holding plates are attached, within 5 mm (0.2 inch) of the left and right edges of the media is
recognized as the media edge.
The edges of the media are not detected correctly if the media holding plates are not attached correctly.

Off : The longest scale on the after heater’s label (in the illustration below) is used as the reference position for the
right edge of the media. Regardless of the width of the loaded media, the left edge of the media is determined
to be 1,626 mm (64 inches) from the reference position for the right edge.
