Step 1
With no printing or cleaning being car-
ried out, pull out the waste liquid box at
the back. The alarm will ring and the
display will change to “No waste-Ink
Tank”.
Step 2
Without tilting the waste liquid box that
you have removed, place it inside a
thick vinyl bag then tip out the
absorbent material.
If the waste ink absorbent sheet does
not come out of the box, put on the
accessory gloves and take it out by
hand.
• Check beforehand that the thick vinyl bag to be used does not
leak. Also, be careful not to tear the vinyl bag when you are
disposing of the waste liquid absorbent material and closing
the bag.
• Since there is a risk of damage, don't hit the waste liquid box
or bump it against a hard object. If the waste ink absorbent
sheet is difficult to remove, put on the accessory gloves and
remove it by hand.
