6. Place the hard disk drive backplane on a conductive mat.
10.3 Mounting the Hard Disk Drive
Backplane
1. Mount the hard disk drive backplane.
2. Tighten the two screws to secure the hard disk drive backplane.
3. Secure the two cables to the rear of the hard disk drive backplane.
Caution – Do not forcibly mount the hard disk drive in a slot. Forcibly pushing the
component in a slot may damage the component or the server.
