Access via UMTS
If you ordered an integrated UMTS module with your system, you can enjoy optimum
reception and maximum energy efficiency without awkward cables or antennas. The
optional UMTS module is ready for use straight away.
If you did not order a UMTS m odu le, you can purchase the accessories for UMTS reception
from your retailer or your Fujitsu Technology Solutions dealer.
You will find informa tion on establish ing the connection with the UMTS network
in the documentation for the hardware used.
You can connect your device w ith the In ternet via UMTS. To do this, use one
of the following types of connection:
• a USB dongle (a USB stick with your mobile phone provider’s SIM card)
• UMTS ExpressCard (for inserting in the ExpressCard slot of your device)
• mobile end-device (e.g. mobile phone with Bluetooth or cable connection)
