Setting up the port replicator
Select a suitable location for the po rt replicator before setting it up.
Follow the instructions below when doing so:
• Never place the po rt replicator on a soft surfa ce (e.g. carpeting, upholstered furniture, bed).
This can block the air vents of the note book and cause overheating and damage.
• Place t he port replicator on a stable, flat and non-slip surface. Please not e that the
port replicator’s rubber feet may mark certain types of surface.
• Never pla ce the port replicator and the mains adapter on a heat-sensitive surface.
• Do not expose the port replicator to extreme environmental conditions.
Protect the port replicator from dust, humidity and heat.
