Trap format
This option selects one of the active
MIBs to format the SNMP Trap. Two
formats are available: Standard and
Nortel. Press the
space bar
until the
desired choice is displayed.
SNMP Community Name
Enter the SNMP community name (up
to 20 characters can be used as a
name).
--IP Addresses for SNMP
Managers-
Manager 1
Manager 2
Manager 3
Manager 4
Manager 5
A maximum of five IP addresses can
be entered as SNMP Managers to
accept SNMP traps. If the IP address
is not on the terminal server’s network
segment, make sure the default
gateway is set and all routers have
been programmed with the proper
routes.
Setting FTP Parameters
The terminal server supports FTP Client Send commands. Files can be
sent from the terminal server to an FTP server using FTP (File Transfer
Protocol) protocol. To do this, you must set parameters in the Set
Network Parameters screen. After the parameters have been specified,
you may issue the SEBUF or SEND command with the appropriate
parameters.
To specify the FTP parameters, type
SNP

to display the Network
Parameters menu, FTP Parameters option.
