2 To remove a memory module, push the ejector tabs on
each side of the module. Lift the memory module up and
out of the connector and place it on a static-free surface.
Figure 40 shows how to remove a memory module.

Installing Memory Modules
Before installing memory modules, remove the Main
Tray Assembly from the system unit.
Refer to Chapter 3 for information about memory
configurations.
Perform the following steps to install memory
modules:
1 Locate the memory connectors on the CPU board, as
shown in the figures in the previous section.
