10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet port LED
Each 10/100/1000Base-T auto-sensing Ethernet port has a status LED to show port operating status and
activities. The port mode LED indicates the type of information (for example, port rate or duplex mode)
that the port LEDs are showing. You can use the port LED mode switching button to change the type of
displayed port information.

Steady green
The port is operating at 1000 Mbps. The port LED
fast flashes when the port is sending or receiving
data.
Steady yellow
The port is operating at 10/100 Mbps. The port LED
fast flashes when the port is sending or receiving
data.
Flashing yellow (3 Hz) POST has failed on the port.
Steady green (rate mode)
Off No link is present on the port.
Steady green PoE power supply is normal.
Flashing green (1 Hz)
The device attached to the port requires power
higher than the maximum or currently available PoE
output power on the port.
Steady yellow
The port is experiencing a PoE failure.
The port is not supplying power, because the device
attached to the port is not a powered device.
Flashing yellow (3 Hz) POST has failed on the port.
Flashing green (1 Hz)
(PoE mode, available
only for PoE switches)
Off The port is not supplying PoE power.
Steady green
The port is operating in full duplex mode. The port
LED fast flashes when the port is sending or
receiving data.
Steady yellow
The port is operating in half duplex mode. The port
LED fast flashes when the port is sending or
receiving data.
Flashing yellow (3 Hz) POST has failed on the port.
