Clearing
CMOS
memory
Complete
the
following
steps
to
clear
CMOS
memory:
1.
Review
the
safety
information
beginning
on
page
109.
2.
Turn
off
the
blade
server,
and
remove
the
blade
server
from
the
BladeCenter
unit.
3.
Open
the
top
cover.
4.
Find
the
configuration
switch
block
on
the
I/O
board.
For
the
location
of
the
configuration
switch
block,
see
“Switches
and
jumpers”
on
page
38.
5.
Flip
switch
3
from
the
Off
position
to
the
On
position.
6.
Wait
10
seconds;
then,
flip
the
switch
to
the
Off
position.
7.
Reconnect
all
external
cables
and
the
power
cord.
8.
Turn
on
all
attached
devices,
and
restart
the
blade
server.
