NFS Share Properties
Use this page to specify which NFS clients are granted
access to each share. Access can be granted or denied
on the basis of client host name. Access can also be
granted or denied on the basis of client groups, where
a client group contains one or more client host names.
To add a new NFS client or client group to a
share
1. Create a new client group as described in “Adding
NFS Client Groups” on page 64.
2. Follow the steps described in the following
procedure to add an existing client or client group.
To add an existing client or client group
1. On the primary menu bar, select Folders and
Shares.
2. On the secondary menu bar, select Windows
and UNIX Shares.
3. From the Object Selection table (Figure 49 on
page 115), select the share for which you want to
add an NFS client or client group.
4. In the Tasks list, click Properties….
5. On the General tab (Figure 51 on page 118), enter
the Share name, and Share path. Under the
Accessible from the following clients:
prompt, check the Unix (NFS) box.
6. Select the NFS tab.
7. Select the desired machine or group from the list
on the left, or type an NFS Client appliance name
in the text box on the right, then click Add.
