The lower roller housing
assembly
The sensors are located in the upper section of the lower roller assembly
housing.
1. Open the top cover.
2. Open the right-side access door.
3. Grasp the vertical baffle handle and pull down until the baffle plate
stops and clicks into place. This unlocks the lower roller assembly.
4. Slide the lower roller assembly out of its housing and vacuum inside
the housing.
IMPORTANT: Do not slide the lower roller assembly back into place
without first removing the imaging guides. Failure to
remove them first can cause misalignment and/or
damage to the machine.
5. Remove the imaging guides.
6. Replace the lower roller assembly.
7. Replace the imaging guides.
8. Vacuum the screen located at the base of the transport system.
IMPORTANT: Do not insert the vacuum cleaner nozzle under the
lower roller housing assembly. The lamp sensor may
be damaged or dislodged.
9. Push down on the baffle handle to release the baffle plate. Raise
the baffle plate into its original position.
10..Close the right-side access door and top cover.
