Chapter 6 Using the Scanner Functions
Subject and Body
The [Subject] and [Body] selected by the [Default Setting] on the [Registration/Edit] screen are dis-
played for the subject and body defaults. Refer to [Registration/Edit] for the setting method
( Page 156, 157). For [From Address], the [Administrator's Mail Address] is selected as the
default.
1 Touch [Subject/Msg. Body].
→ The [Subject/body input] screen is displayed.
zThe subject and text body selected by default are displayed for [Subject] and [Body].
2 Touch the [Subject] key.
→ The [Data Input] screen is displayed.
3 Touch the character keys to input the subject.
zUp to 63 alphanumerics can be input for the subject.
For details on character input, refer to [3-1. Inputting Text] ( Page 16).
zIf you register a subject, the subject can be used from the [Subject list] screen.
For details on registering a subject, refer to [6-2. Registering Destinations] ( Page 151).
4 Touch the [OK] key.
→ The display returns to the [Subject/body input] screen.
