Chapter 8 Key Operator Settings
Scan W/O key count
This sets whether to enable scanning or disable scanning when the key counter is removed during scan
operations.
zThe factory default is [Not valid] (scanning is possible whether or not the key counter is present).
1 Select [SCAN W/O key count] in [Initial setting] screen.
When you touch the [ ] or [ ] key, the selection item is switched.
zFor details on the procedure for displaying the [Initial setting] screen, refer to [Switching the Key Operator Mode]
( Page 190).
2 Touch the [EDIT] key, then change the setting.
Each time you touch the [EDIT] key, the setting is switched.
If you select [Valid], operation is according to the copier setting.
If you select [Not valid], scanning is possible whether or not the key counter is present.
zFor the copier settings to use when [Valid] is selected, contact one of our service outlets.
3 Touch the [RETURN] key.
From now on, the copier operates in accordance with this setting.
