SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS ACTION
Long tracks of missing print on
several labels.
Wrinkled ribbon. See “Wrinkled ribbon.” on
page 68 under SYMPTOM.
Print element damaged. Call a service technician.
In Peel-Off Mode, skewed or
stuck labels.
Glue material from back of
labels causing media
movement problems.
Refer to "Cleaning" beginning
on page 51 and perform
maintenance and cleaning of
the printer.
Media and backing not
properly aligned in printer.

Wrinkled ribbon.
Ribbon fed through machine
incorrectly.

Incorrect darkness setting. Set to the lowest value needed

is walking from side to side.
Make sure the media is snug
by adjusting the media guide.
