Link, overview
The content of the Links tab is displayed.
An overview of the configured links is given with the following ex tra info of the Link:
- The green LE D indicates that the L ink is connected.
- Source name: can be changed to any name, just by clicking inside the input field and entering a new name.
- Serial number
- Software version
- Last connected time
- Auto show/hide
- Statu s, calib ra ted or not calibrated
3. To remove the connected Link from the configuration, click Rem ove From List.
About Auto show/hide
Enable (check) this option when you want to hide the Apple TV menu automatically. This requires calibration of the Link. If this
option is disabled (unchecked), the App le T V menu will appear as one of th e sources in the ClickShare com position.
6.22 Calibrating a ClickShare Link
About calibration
In the context of Apple TV combined with th e Link frame grabber, calibration is the procedure of detecting and determining a refer-
ence image. This is used by the Auto Show/Hide function : When the output image of the ClickS hare Link matches the reference
image the output of the ClickShare Link is hidden.
The ClickShare Link will typically be calibrated on the Apple TV home screen.
The calibration will analyze the im age during a 20 second t ime span. Only parts of the image that do not change during this period
will be used. This allows the algorithm to cope with the different appe arances of the hom e screen (e.g. Com puters or Settings
selected) and the transients between them.
If for some reason calibration fails the previous reference image will be restored.
How to calibrate
1. Log in to the ClickShare web interface.
2. Click the Maintenanc e tab (1) and then click Links (2).
