Performing Hardware Maintenance Switch Administration
If a system failure occurs while the core dump feature is enabled, the SmartCell ZX-250 console appears similar to the
example below. The SmartCell ZX-250 then begins sending images of its memory to the core dump files on the TFTP
server.

4.9 PERFORMING HARDWARE MAINTENANCE
This section gives generic instructions about how to access all user upgradable and replaceable components in the
SmartCell ZX-250 ATM switch.
4.9.1 Required Tools

4.9.2 Internal Components
Figure 4-5 is a diagram of the internal components common to the SmartCell ZX-250 family of switches. The five
