>"•mamV At this point, you have direct access to the power bus of the backplane, which
carries potentially hazardous voltage. DO NOT insert hands into the power
supply opening. DO NOT touch the backplane. DO NOT insert any metal (or
conductive) objects into the power supply opening.
–• Replace the power supply with a new power supply module or with the sheet metal blank.
%"¤›apm If you do not replace the power supply module, you MUST install the sheet
metal blank in its place. Failing to do so affects the fan’s airflow and may cause
overheating and component failure. You also must replace the blank to maintain
EMI integrity.
4.9.15 Replacing a Fuse
Use the following instructions to replace a spent fuse.
s• Turn the power switch to off, and remove the power cord.
¢• Access the fuse assembly (part of the power plug assembly) in the back of the switch.
•• With a flat-blade screw driver, gently pry out the plastic fuse assembly (see Figure 4-17).
