To use the static forwarding function, check either the Add/Modify to the table option button or the Delete from the
table option button, enter the MAC address of the device to which the specified port permanently forwards traffic in the
Destination MAC Address field, enter a VLAN ID number in the second field, and enter the port number that
permanently forwards traffic from the specified device in the Destination Port Number field. Then click Apply.
The information in the window is described as follows:
♦ Add/Modify to the table/Delete from the table Choose one of the desired options to add/modify or
delete an entry from the table.
♦ Destination MAC Address The MAC address of the device to which the specified port permanently
forwards traffic.
♦ Vid (1 .. 4094) This is the VLAN ID number for the VLAN that has an agent attached to it which enables
IGMP packets to be sent and received.
♦ Destination Port Number The port number that permanently forwards traffic from the specified device,
regardless of the device's network activity or current network congestion.
