If paper is jammed as it enters the optional duplex, the display
shows
Paper Jam in Duplex
.
1. Unfasten the catch of the duplex unit’s vertical unit and tilt it
back so that you can access the printer exit opening.
.
2. Open the printer cover.
3. Remove the cartridge.
4. Look for a sheet of paper protruding from the paper exit
opening, as shown in the illustration above.

Warning:
A high temperature caution label is affixed to the paper path.
It is hot so exercise caution.
5. Carefully but firmly, pull the sheet of paper out of the exit
opening. If the paper tears when you remove it, make sure
you remove any pieces remaining the printer.
6. Close and re-fasten the duplex unit and the printer cover.
Paper jammed at the entrance to the duplex unit
