5. Close the duplex tray.
6. Close and lock the vertical unit.
7. Open the paper cassettes and remove any jammed or partially
fed paper.
8. Replace the cassette tray or MP Tray media before continuing
with the print job.
Printing automatically restarts from the page that jammed. If the
paper light stays on after removing all jammed paper, open and
close the printer cover to clear the error.
Operational problems
Turn off the printer and check the power cable connections
between the printer and the electrical outlet; then turn the printer
back on.
If the electrical outlet is controlled by an outside source such as a
wall switch, make sure the switch is turned on or plug another
electrical device into the outlet to check whether the outlet is
operating properly.

On Line
once to put the printer on line (the
On Line
light comes
on).
The On Line
light does not turn on when you turn the printer on.
The printer does not print and the
On Line
light is off.
