Removing the Lower Paper Cassette (no duplex unit
installed)
When moving the printer, you should remove the lower paper
cassette first. When fitted with the lower paper cassette the printer
is very heavy.
1. Make sure that the computer and printer are turned off,
remove the power cord from the wall outlet and from the
printer. Remove any interface cables from the printer.
2. At the rear of the printer, you see the two feeder joint clips
joining the lower paper cassette to the printer. Pinch these
feeder joint clips between your thumb and finger and remove
them, as shown below.
