Installing the Utility
1. Make sure Windows is running.
2. Insert the CD-ROM that comes with your printer into your
CD-ROM drive (usually this will be drive D).
3. For Windows 95, 98, and NT 4.0 users: click
Start
, then choose
Run
.
For Windows 3.1 users: make sure the Program Manager
window is open, and then choose
Run
on the File menu.
4. Type
D:\EPSETUP.EXE
(or
E:\EPSETUP.EXE
); then click
OK
.
5. For Windows 95,98, and Windows NT 4.0 users: in the dialog
box that appears, double-click
Install Status Monitor 2
; or you
can also install by selecting
Install Status Monitor 2
and then
clicking the arrow on the top right.
6. In the dialog box that appears, select
EPL-N1600
and click
OK
.
The utility is installed automatically.
7. When installation is complete, click
OK
.
The Status Monitor utility is now installed on your computer.
