from the front, rear, optional cut-sheet feeders, or
roll paper holder.
Rear push and rear push/pull tractor
combination—for loading continuous paper from
the rear.
Front push and front push/pull tractor
combination—for loading continuous paper from
the front.
Pull tractor position—for loading continuous paper
from the front, rear, or bottom.

Although some arrows show paper loading from the top, the paper
actually enters the printer from the rear, even when using the
paper guide.

The push/pull tractor combination is recommended for enhanced
paper handling when using continuous paper. See page 2-13 for
more details.
